Açai Bowl with kiwi, goji berries, coconut, almonds, and raw cacao nibs

There is nothing like a cold and creamy açai bowl for breakfast. Simple  and delicious; not to mention highly nutritious and filled with antioxidants to give you a boost in the morning.

image Açai bowls are such a wonderful healthy breakfast because there is no limit to what you can top them with; it is fun to mix and match different toppings and see what you like best. For this particular açai bowl, the recipe is as follows: Açai bowl ingredients:

  • 1 packet of açai pulp (make sure you get one with no added sugar, plain unadulterated açai should have almost 0 sugar.) I use either Sambazon or Nativo
  • 1 frozen banana (freeze after peeling in a ziplock bag)
  • About 1/2 a cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)
  • I used about 1 cup almond milk but you can use coconut water or plain water as well
  • About 2 cups worth of kale or spinach

Toppings:

  • kiwi
  • dried goji berries
  • unsweetened shaved coconut
  • slivered almonds
  • raw cacao nibs

Enjoy!

    1. Thank you! Well, all you really need are the ingredients and some sort of blender (I use a nutribullet but really any blender would do the trick) then you simply blend together the ingredients that I specifically listed for the acai bowl, and add whatever toppings you’d like. Let me know if I can help further! I promise, it looks a little complicated but it’s not.
