What can you do with all of those thick kale stems that don’t make their way into your kale salad? Juice them, of course! This kale stem juice is a perfect way to avoid waste while getting those irreplaceable nutrients from kale, finished with a kick of cayenne to get your bloodstream going and aid digestion.Â
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of kale stems (You can totally include kale leaves if you had them)
- 1 green apple
- 1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
- 3 stalks celery
- 1/2 a large english cucumber
- bunch of mint (optional)
Directions:
Wash all of your produce and juice according to your juicer’s instructions. After juicing, sprinkle with cayenne and mix together. Enjoy!
